Meral Sena Yılmaz

Meral Sena Yılmaz graduated from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Law in 2022. Following her undergraduate studies, she continued her academic education in Taiwan, where she studied Mandarin at Ming Chuan University and subsequently completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) studies at National Yang Ming Chiao TungUniversity (NYCU).

Throughout her academic and professional career, she has developed a particular interest in international commercial arbitration, contract law, maritime law, energy law, shipbuilding law, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution. She has experience in drafting and revising cross-border commercial agreements, particularly in the maritime, energy, shipbuilding, and M&A sectors. She has also worked on demand letters and pre-litigation correspondence in commercial and employment disputes, contributing to the preparation of arbitration, settlement, and dispute resolution processes.

Meral Sena Yılmaz has further strengthened her practical experience through her participation in the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna as an oralist and memorandum drafter. She is currently serving as a legal intern at Pi Legal Consultancy.
